Adding an address does not make you the owner. Anyone can suggest a public server.

The address joins the check queue.
A separate monitoring node requests standard server information.
A valid CS 1.6 response makes the server eligible for listing.

Repeated submissions do not create duplicate listings. Unreachable servers may take longer to check.

To edit a listing later, sign in and verify server control with a temporary hostname code. No RCON password or plugin is needed.
