Good games start with useful data.

An independent directory for Counter-Strike 1.6 communities.

How we check servers

Our separate monitoring node uses A2S server-info queries to read names, maps, player counts, capacity and flags. The website displays saved observations. Opening a page does not send a query to the game server.

How fresh the data is

Online servers are normally scheduled about every two minutes. Unreachable servers are checked less often. Stale means the last check is more than five minutes old. A monitoring outage leaves a gap; it does not prove that the game server went offline.

Reported players and security flags

Names, maps, players, bots and VAC flags are reported by the game server and can be misleading. These figures do not prove real human players, cheat-free gameplay or trustworthy administration.

Country, mode and response time

Country is an approximate IP location, not the community language. Modes are inferred from explicit map or name signals, or declared by a verified owner. The source is shown on each listing. Response time comes from our monitoring node and is not your personal ping.

What history measures

Online graphs show recorded player counts over 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days, with averages and peaks. Missing periods remain gaps. Separate bot counts are available only from the moment we started recording them. Map shares reflect recorded observations, not exact playing time.

Optional A2S player and rules queries provide nicknames, scores, time played and the next map when the server allows it. A missing player list does not mean the server is empty.

Adding a server and confirming control

Anyone can submit a public address without claiming it. Editing a description, community link or mode requires an account with confirmed email and a fresh hostname challenge. Control confirmation expires and can be renewed. We never ask for an RCON or hosting password.

How the ranking works

Ranking sums integrity-checked player-hours over a rolling 30-day window, aligned to the hour. Five-minute averages have equal weight, with proportional credit for the current interval. More frequent checks cannot multiply points. No minimum age is required: the first positive observation earns a position at the next minute refresh. At 32 legitimate players, an observed hour earns about 32 player-hours; ten minutes earn about 5.33. Missing, failed and suspicious observations earn zero. Equal scores use server ID. Rankings use cached daily and hourly totals.

New servers build their score gradually. Monitoring outages reduce recorded coverage: the score measures observed activity, not guaranteed popularity. Server-reported data can be manipulated; subtracting reported bots alone does not prove every remaining player is human. Moderators can exclude confirmed abuse.

Integrity checks compare INFO and PLAYER counts, undeclared bot labels, duplicate rows and frozen connection durations across spaced observations. Repeated evidence pauses ranking for administrator review. Missing player lists receive no points; an administrator may grant a seven-day exception. A2S cannot prove player identity or detect every hidden bot.
